Fighting in the Middle East has intensified again, with Iran and the United States trading attacks even though a ceasefire was supposed to be in place. Iran said it struck a U.S. base in Kuwait, while the U.S. accused Iran of breaking the truce. At the same time, President Trump is still reviewing a possible deal with Iran, even though negotiators from both sides agreed on the main terms three days ago. A senior Arab official said the deal was “already closed in Doha,” but both sides are delaying the final announcement. Tensions also rose after Trump threatened to “blow up” Oman while stressing the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open.

Violence is also growing in Lebanon and Gaza. Israel carried out heavy strikes on the Lebanese city of Tyre, killing at least 14 people, including women and children, despite a month‑old ceasefire. Lebanon’s prime minister said “nothing can justify” the attacks and called for an immediate ceasefire and full Israeli withdrawal. In Gaza, Prime Minister Netanyahu said Israel aims to expand control to 70% of the territory, even though millions of Palestinians are already displaced. The ongoing conflict has caused thousands of deaths in Lebanon and Gaza, and rising tensions have pushed oil prices higher as the region becomes more unstable.
