AUBURN, Wash. — Two people were hospitalized after a car collided with a flatbed trailer in Auburn on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency crews from Valley Regional Fire, Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire & Rescue, and King County Medic One responded to the scene at 2306 B St NW near the Commercial Metals Company building.
Authorities reported that the vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the parked flatbed trailer. One person was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated. Firefighters worked for 30 minutes to free the individual, who was then transported to a Seattle-area hospital by King County Medic One.
Another person at the scene was treated and transported by ambulance.
The condition of the injured individuals remains unknown. Valley Regional Fire shared details of the crash on X at 4:55 p.m., though the exact time of the incident has not been confirmed.
