President Trump announced he will not extend the 90-day pause on tariffs beyond July 9, meaning countries without trade deals with the U.S. will face new tariffs ranging from 10% to 50%. He acknowledged the challenge of negotiating with many nations but said letters warning of the tariffs will be sent out soon. The administration had aimed for 90 trade deals in 90 days but is now prioritizing based on how countries treat the U.S.

Trump also discussed a potential deal to keep TikTok operating in the U.S., saying a group of wealthy investors is preparing to buy the platform. He expects China’s approval may be needed and hinted at a decision within two weeks. This follows multiple deadline extensions to bring TikTok under American ownership after a national ban was briefly enforced.

On foreign policy, Trump claimed U.S. strikes had “obliterated” Iran’s nuclear facilities, setting back its program significantly. He criticized leaks suggesting otherwise and called for prosecution of those responsible. He also floated a “temporary pass” for farms and hotels to avoid immigration raids that could hurt their labor force, while maintaining a tough stance on deporting criminals.
