The tight-knit community of Wenatchee, Washington, came together at Memorial Park to honor the lives of three young sisters—Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) Decker—who were found dead in Chelan County. Hundreds attended the candlelight vigil, singing and sharing memories of the girls.
Authorities continue searching for their father, Travis Decker, who is wanted for first-degree murder and kidnapping. His abandoned truck was found near the location of the girls’ bodies, but his whereabouts remain unknown. Sheriff Mike Morrison urged Decker to turn himself in, while law enforcement, including the FBI, follows leads.
Community members, including Evie’s dance teacher, spoke about the sisters’ close bond, while families grapple with difficult conversations about the tragedy. A reward of up to $20,000 has been offered for information leading to Decker’s arrest.
