Our History
Oromia Freedom Media (OFM) is a non-profit media organization founded on January 1, 2021, in Seattle, Washington, USA. We are a large group of Oromos who are dedicated to serving our community here in the Seattle area and around the world.
Our Mission
The character of this OFM shall be that of a non-profit organization engaging in the sharing of information from outside and within our communities. We are working toward informing the refugee and immigrant populations here in the Seattle metropolitan area and beyond.
Participation in the activities of this media will be open to the Afan Oromo, Somali, and Amharic-speaking communities of the greater Seattle metropolitan area, USA. We strive to serve the communication needs of Oromo, Somali, and Amharic-speaking residents of Seattle and beyond.
