Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks keep their NFC West title hopes alive with a low-scored win against the Chicago Bears in Week 17. Despite a slow game with both offenses struggling, the Seahawks’ defense, led by Leonard Williams, ruled the field with seven sacks. The game was the lowest scoring of the NFL season so far, ending without a single touchdown and only by two field goals from Jason Myers. Seattle’s defense was sharp while the offense struggled to score a touchdown, but they managed to make 122 rushing yards on 25 of their plays. The Seahawks now await the outcome of the Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams game, which will determine their chances of gaining the NFC West title. If the Rams lose or don’t win the division, the Seahawks will face a final against the Rams in Week 17.

Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears losing streak continued with a record-tying 10th straight loss, marking their longest losing streak in a single season. The game had multiple missed opportunities and called-off touchdowns, such as Kyler Gordon’s 62-yard fumble return and Rome Odunze’s called-back TD. Although there were high expectations at the start of the season, the Bears fans were left disappointed once again. At the stadium loud boos from the Chicago fans were heard. With one game left in 2024, the Bears season has been a series of devastating events, leaving fans desire something to cheer for as they near the end of the season.
